Programs for ages 12 months to 6 years

Our Programs

The program is planned age wise and is divided into 4 categories.

Infant Program (12 months – 19 months)

For infants, we offer a safe and nurturing atmosphere where they may interact with their senses and other children while promoting their growth. Our infant care programme provides love and extra special attention they require, which is something every kid deserves. Our infant room is a welcoming space with a caring ambiance and dedicated attention. Small group activities, gentle play, and safe discovery are offered to every child individually. Without being intimidating, it stimulates the growth of young minds. We provide flexible schedules for the children under 19 months because each infant’s needs vary. There are places for resting, sleeping, and personal space, as well as the chance to engage in outdoor activities in the open air.

Toddler Program (19 months – 36 months)

By developing programs that promote toddlers’ healthy development, foster their cognitive growth, and help them gain essential skills, we show them the pleasure of learning. The world is a fascinating place full of exploration and learning for a toddler. When we look after toddlers, we support that journey and provide them with positive emotional guidance so they may learn the limits of their independence. Through a regular schedule that includes free play, structured play, group sessions for music and language, and outdoor activities, we help give young children’s lives structure. The social and emotional requirements of each child are taken into account by our supportive and sympathetic team.

Preschool Program (36 months – 48 months)

Pre-schoolers benefit from our engaging activities and innovative learning environment as they get ready for elementary school. It’s crucial to provide 3 year olds the time and space to explore their individuality in a secure and encouraging setting as they begin to come into their own. Our three-year-old care program encourages the growth of independence and a desire to learn. We promote kindness and foster social development abilities. Numerous chances for both individual and group language, music, communication, and problem-solving learning are offered through our flexible curriculum. Additionally, because three-year-olds have a lot of energy to expend, our engaging outdoor play zones offer lots of scope for active play.

Prekindergarten/Kindercare (48 months and above)

With the help of our small groups, extensive curriculum, and engaging programs, we provide every kid the opportunity to enjoy learning. Our kindergarten program provides children with a safe and supportive atmosphere where they develop their independence, with a focus on respectful interactions, and learn social skills. Our program is staffed by competent professionals. We include kids in small groups, large groups, and in structured group sessions for different activities such as music, language, and discussion. Literacy and numeracy are introduced naturally via everyday events, and all activities are flexible and focused on the learning experience rather than the academic objective. We also offer a Kindercare program for children attending kindergarten both during and outside school hours.

Growing Miracles works diligently to find quality educators who are a good fit for our philosophies and are passionate about childcare. Educators who understand early childcare learning programs are proven to benefit children throughout their lives Our Educators are dedicated, professional and caring teachers who provide a warm, loving and stable environment for all the children.

We are passionate about teaching and providing developmentally appropriate opportunities that inspire children to become confident, successful, lifelong learners. All educators must have a current vulnerable sector check and first aid/CPR training throughout their employment. Growing Miracles has regular professional development days for training to keep educators up to date on the most effective ways to support kids as they learn, develop, and grow.

Meals

Our center offers morning snacks, lunch, and afternoon snacks. All food provided to children adheres to the Canada Food Guide requirements and the Alberta Nutrition Guidelines. Infants who are between 12 months and 19 months older will be served according to their parents’ instructions. Our menu is rotated on a four-week basis. We are a completely peanut- and nut-free facility. We attempt to accommodate dietary needs, preferences, sensitivities, and allergies.

Our teachers serve the food and eat with the children. Our mealtimes provide opportunities for socialization and the development of sound eating habits.

Growing Miracles is an early learning child care centre which provides a safe space for the children to learn and grow.
