“Growing Miracles Childcare believes children are miracles. Believing that every child is a miracle can influence the way we plan for children’s care. Children learn in different ways and at different rates in all areas of learning and development. We recognize that each child is unique and that their formative experiences serve as the foundation for their future development, which is why it is our pleasure as childcare professionals to offer your child a nurturing environment and to ensure they are comfortable and happy in our care.
Our Mission
Growing Miracles Childcare team believes in the value and individuality of each child. Each child’s unique social, intellectual, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth is encouraged. Our goal as educators is to establish a secure and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports a child’s natural urge to be curious, discover, create, and learn. We extend all the help we can for the child to become a lifelong learner and enjoy the journey of learning. We aim to offer no less than what we would expect for our own children.

Learning through Play
The children’s needs and interests are monitored at our center and incorporated into the programming under the ‘Learn through Play’ concept. Based on our Philosophy on Play, which emphasizes that play is an active, engaging, and essential aspect of childhood, the curriculum considers young children as eager, capable, and full of potential. All children need to play in order to develop their body, minds, and social-emotional skills in a healthy way. Play also lays a strong foundation for future educational excellence.

Flight: Alberta’s Early Learning and Care Framework is an emergent curriculum, and planning is based on how we understand children’s learning. children are viewed as powerful learners who can be creative in their imaginative play. This Framework focuses on the following major dimensions –
